At SIHH 2010, A. Lange & Sohne was pleased to unveil its new beautiful timepiece – the Saxonia Annual Calendar watch.

The case incorporates a polished bezel and polished lugs. The contrastingly brushed case flanks feature three corrector pieces, with two of them positioned on the left and one on the right. The corrector pieces are to be used for adjusting the calendar displays and moon disc. As for the moon phase display, if the watch were to run continuously, it would require 122 years before the display would deviate from astronomic reality by just one day.

Both the front and back of the timepiece are protected by sapphire crystals.

The Saxonia Annual Calendar watch accommodates a self-winding manufacture movement – the L085.1 Caliber that boasts fine craftsmanship. The 476-component movement incorporates a bidirectional three-quarter rotor crafted in 21K gold and centrifugal mass in platinum. The rotor shows off the brand signature in relief.
